About Me
Who Am I
Meet Abi Beri
I’m an IPHM-accredited Integrative Therapist, Family Constellation Facilitator, and Nervous System Specialist. My work is somatic, relational, and trauma-informed — drawing on inner child work, the Hellinger method of Family Constellations, and a slow, body-led approach to lasting change.
I treat symptoms as intelligent responses of the nervous system rather than problems to be fixed. The work is in witnessing what the body and the wider system are already trying to say — at a pace your nervous system can trust.
Sessions in Ireland and online worldwide.
Why I Do This Work
Family Constellations isn’t only a method I use. It’s a way of understanding life that I’ve lived, studied, and continue to be shaped by. The longer I’ve worked with families and individuals, the more I’ve come to recognise something quietly extraordinary: how much of what we carry as adults — our anxieties, our patterns in love, our struggles with belonging — doesn’t fully belong to us. It belongs to the wider system we come from. To the people who came before. To the things that were never fully grieved, never fully spoken, never fully integrated.
What I find moving about this work is how often a small acknowledgement — a single word said to the right figure in a constellation — can shift something that years of trying harder has not. Not because the work is magical, but because it speaks the language the system has been waiting to hear. That recognition is what I try to hold space for, slowly and carefully, with each person who arrives.

How I Work
My approach is unhurried, relational, and respectful of what each system is ready to bring forward. I treat what surfaces in a session as intelligent — as something the system has been holding with reason, often for generations. The work isn’t about overriding what’s there. It’s about witnessing it, giving it its rightful place, and allowing the natural movement that follows.
I’m trauma-informed in how I hold sessions. Pacing matters. Consent matters. The body’s signals are listened to as carefully as the words spoken. This is depth work — but it’s not a forced descent. We move at the pace your system can trust, and we stop at the edges of what feels right.
Online sessions are held with the same care as in-person work. The systemic field doesn’t depend on physical proximity — what matters is the quality of attention, the willingness of the system to come into view, and the steadiness of the space being held. Many people find online sessions allow them to engage with the work from the safety of their own environment, which can support depth rather than diminish it.
Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating a wide range of doorways into this material. Some come with a specific question — a parent they can’t seem to forgive, a relationship pattern that keeps repeating, a recurring sense of not belonging. Others come because something keeps surfacing without a clear name — an anxiety they can’t trace, a grief that doesn’t seem to be about anything specific, a sense that their life isn’t quite their own.
Both are welcome. The work tends to surface what’s relevant, often including material the conscious mind hadn’t been looking at directly.
Many clients find me after years of talk therapy that has helped but not fully reached the layer they sense is still there. Others arrive new to depth work, drawn by something they can’t quite explain. Both paths are honoured here.
